You haven’t got to venture very far to see what Industrial Workwear are all about, we’re absolutely obsessed with delivering exceptional service. Today we’re announcing that we’re taking that obsession to a whole other level.

What are we investing in?

  • We have acquired a new 1,000m2 site to build our brand new HQ!
    • Purpose built for streamlining operational throughput.
    • State of the art unit.
    • Expected early 2022 move in.
  • Major investment within staff wellbeing and career perks.
  • New embroidery machinery to speed up our delivery times (above the 99.5% success rate we currently have!).
  • New print machinery to speed up our delivery times.
  • New state of the art warehouse infrastructure to eliminate picking and human errors.

The investment has been ear marked after Industrial Workwear’s ”Challenge everything to deliver better” strategy came into effect last year.

Local job creation opportunities

Industrial Workwear have now crystallised 29 new jobs once our new head quarters have been built, covering multiple areas from production staff to account management. This step change in recruitment will take our headcount to over 50 for the very first time as our turnover is set to double by the end of this financial year, over a 2 year time-span.

”The pandemic has been a really challenging time for many businesses, and whilst we certainly had our own to deal with early on, we quickly adapted and have been able to grow the business to a phenomenal level during this period”

“There have been some notable client wins during this time, and we’re really excited about our impending new HQ, a 600sqm custom-built factory based in County Durham, which will allow us to continue growing revenue, expanding our business offering, improving service, production and delivery times, as well as creating almost 30 new jobs in the region and taking our headcount to over 50 for the first time”

Joanna Wellden, Sales Manager.

Joanna has joined the company as part of this investment to drive our service to new heights, taking ownership of our full Account Manager, Customer Support and Web Chat service delivery.

”Industrial Workwear is and will continue to be built on providing exceptional customer service and this approach is what has helped us exceed targets, retain customers and win new business.”

”98% of customers have rated our service as Good or Excellent in the last 6 months and I firmly believe it’s what really sets us apart in the industry and will help us continue to grow and offer opportunities in the County Durham and wider North East region”
