Logo Processes

At Industrial Workwear we take pride in our logo service. We only invest in state of the art machinery to produce logo images of the highest standard so customers can wear their uniforms with pride. Wearing your company logo provides a professional appearance and also offers advertising for your company via your staff. We know how important this is so we have different types of processes to help produce the best logo for the job. Please see below the for further details.


Embroidery
Embroidered logo applied by thread to the garment using specialist embroidery machinery.
Benefits: Perceived quality look, reasonable set up costs, no washing limitations, a good process where printing is not an option i.e. fleeces
Limitations: Some limitations exist for replication of very complex designs, unsuitable if waterproofing is required.




Vinyl Transfer
Transfers produced on a plotter cutter from single colour vinyl. Vinyl can be layered to produce multi-coloured transfers.Applied to the garment using a heat press at 130 - 150 degrees for 10 seconds.
Benefits: Low set up costs, cost effective, low application temperature, resilient transfers with higher wash temperatures 60-80 degrees
Limitations: Not suitable for complex designs
 





Sublimation Transfer
Transfer printed on a specialist transfer paper using a digital printer and sublimation inks. Applied to the garment using a heat press at 200 degrees for 30 seconds.
Benefits: Full colour, low set up costs, cost effective, resilient transfers. Perfect for Hi-Vis Vests
Limitations: Can only be used on light coloured polyester coated garments, high application temperature press time limits the process to garments without a lining. Transfer colours are affected by the garment colour.

 


Textile Transfer Paper:
Transfer printed on a specialist transfer paper using a digital printer and laser inks. It is applied to the garment using a heat press at 180 degrees for 15 seconds.
Benefits: Full colour, low set up costs, cost effective, resilient transfers. Perfect for white / light coloured T shirts.
Limitations: Can only be used on light coloured garments, transfer colours are affected by the garment colours.


OBM Transfer
Transfer printed on a specialist transfer paper using a digital printer and laser inks. Transfer is contour cut using a CAD cutter. It is applied to the garment using a heat press at 130 degrees for 15 – 20 seconds.
Benefits: Full colour, low set up costs, cost effective, for light or dark garments.
Limitations: Logo has to be on a white block with the outline contour cut. Lower washing temperatures 40 degrees no tumble drying and no direct ironing.


WOW Transfer
Transfer printed on a specialist transfer paper using a digital printer and laser inks. Transfer is self weeding and produces full colour logo without a white block. It is applied to the garment using a heat press at 130 degrees for 10 seconds.
Benefits: Full colour, low set up costs, for light or dark garments.Perfect for lower quantities of full colour transfers.
Limitations: Higher transfer cost. Lower washing temperatures 40 degrees no tumble drying and no direct ironing.


Screen Printing
Transfer applied colour by colour directly to the garment using specialist printing equipment.
Benefits: Full colour, low unit costs for high volumes, for light or dark garments. Perfect for high quantities of full colour transfers. (500+)Ideal for promotional T shirts.
Limitations: Higher initial setup costs per colour.
